(LibertySociety.com) – The Oversight Project recently revealed evidence of a Soros-funded nongovernmental organization (NGO) encouraging illegal migrants to “vote for President Biden.”
Muckraker reported that the words were written in Spanish on flyers that were reportedly being given to illegal migrants receiving assistance from the Resource Center Matamoros (RCM). Video footage also showed the flyers hung on the walls of the facility’s port-a-potties. Muckraker recorded a conversation with the NGO’s founder, Gaby Zavala, where she said the NGO was “in the same boat” after Muckraker claimed it was helping illegal migrants come into the country before Trump won in November.
The Oversight Project reported that Zavala previously worked as an organizer for the Soros-partnered La Union del Pueblo Entero (LUPE). The report also included the names of various other Soros-funded non-profits that have ties with RCM. The NGO is reportedly sponsored by the Asylum Seeker Network of Support (ASNS), but its non-profit registration in Texas was forfeited in 2022. Zavala continued to operate the NGO anyway. RCM claims that it aids the Hebrew Immigrant Aid Society (HIAS), which helps illegal migrants come into the country. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas was once on the board of HIAS.
Judicial Watch reported that Mayorkas had met with several of the Soros-funded nonprofits that have ties to RCM, including Angry Tias and Abuelas. Fox News correspondent Bill Melugin questioned the authenticity of the flyers, noting that they were written poorly and appeared to be copied and pasted from RCM’s English website. He added that it looked like the suggestion to vote for President Biden had been added on. Muckraker responded to Melugin’s concerns, asking if he had any idea who would have made the edits. Additionally, Muckraker pointed out that it had obtained the flyers on-site at the RCM after being tipped off by someone who was working in an illegal migrants shelter in New York. Melugin agreed that the source of the flyers needed to be determined.
