Former Biden Partner Cooperating With GOP Probe

(LibertySociety.com) – The House Oversight Committee has a key witness who is now cooperating with its investigation into the business dealings of the Biden family. The committee subpoenaed Devon Archer on June 12 to sit for a deposition just four days later, but Archer’s attorneys are working with the committee to set up a later date for him to be deposed due to scheduling issues. Archer is currently awaiting sentencing for securities fraud, but it appears that he wil have to make time to provide information to the committee.

In 2014, while Joe Biden was Vice President, Archer sat on the board of the Ukrainian energy company Burisma with Hunter Biden, which is a subject of high interest to members of the Oversight Committee. New revelations came to light when the FBI gave the committee access to an unclassified FD-1023 form which showed that then-Vice President Biden and Hunter Biden may have participated in a bribery scheme, resulting in a $10 million payout to them. The information came from a highly credible source who has been a paid informant for the FBI for many years.

Committee Chair Rep James Comer (R-Ky.) told Newsmax that he is particularly interested in interviewing Archer because “He was someone that was on the inside with the Biden family,” Comer added that Archer knows exactly how involved then-VP Biden was, in addition to the type of work that was done to receive the amounts of money they did from so many different countries. Shortly after the subpoena was sent to Archer, a White House spokesperson said that the committee is “really just microwaving old, debunked stuff,” adding that they have not presented any evidence that implicates President Biden.

The U.S. Attorney who is investigating Hunter Biden just handed down two misdemeanor tax charges and one felony gun charge on June 20th, 2022, but it is unknown if he is or was investigating him for his foreign business dealings that the committee is looking into.
