(LibertySociety.com) – On September 27, the New York Times (NYT) published a report about President Donald Trump’s tax returns. The commander-in-chief disputed the allegations made in the article, but it turns out, he didn’t have to.
According to a Hill-HarrisX poll released on October 13, 51% of those surveyed said the report about Trump’s taxes “makes no difference” to them. It isn’t going to change the way they’ll vote in the November 3 election.

Democrats have been behaving as though his taxes are some sort of smoking gun for years. Instead, it’s the scandal that never was. Voters care about how a leader handles the big issues facing the country. They obviously don’t care if their representatives have a good accountant.
The country is in the midst of a pandemic. Our economy is recovering and the president is making gains in foreign policy. Those are the issues voters care about. The election is less than three weeks away; who will America vote for?
