(LibertySociety.com) – Conservative radio host Rush Limbaugh is one of the most influential men in the media. Millions of listeners tune in to hear his take on the issues important to him. That’s why it was so heartbreaking to learn he was given a terminal diagnosis of cancer by his doctors. But President Donald Trump is rallying behind his friend.
On October 19, Limbaugh updated listeners on his lung cancer diagnosis. He said recent PET scans showed “some progression of cancer.” He went on to say it’s been tough, and he feels as though he is under a “death sentence.” The Conservative told listeners he felt “blessed” to speak to them.
Rush Limbaugh gives a somber update on his fight with cancer:
“I hate the way I feel every day. It's tough to realize that the days where I do not think I'm under a death sentence are over."https://t.co/chcTVG6XwV

On Wednesday, October 21, the president spoke in support of Limbaugh at a North Carolina rally. He said “there’s nobody more brave” than the radio host and they’ve never seen “a fighter like Rush.” Trump gave Limbaugh the Medal of Freedom, the highest civilian honor, earlier this year.
Limbaugh said that he has good and bad days. That’s expected with a diagnosis like his. He plans to stay on the radio as long as he can. America is praying for him.
