(LibertySociety.com) – Stacey Williams, a former model and known Democratic activist, recently stepped forward with allegations against former President Donald Trump. Williams claims that Trump groped her during a visit to Trump Tower in 1993 after being introduced to him by Jeffrey Epstein, with whom she was then romantically involved. According to reports, Williams alleges that Epstein was close friends with Trump, a relationship she says she only fully realized later, after learning of Epstein’s now well-documented abuses.
Williams says that Trump greeted her by allegedly pulling her close and groping her, touching her breasts, waist, and buttocks. She also claims that she froze out of confusion, witnessing Trump and Epstein exchanging smiles during the incident. Notably, Williams disclosed her story during a conference call organized by a pro-Harris coalition known as “Survivors for Kamala.” This group, which recently placed a full-page ad in The New York Times, has actively campaigned against Trump, highlighting Harris’s record as a prosecutor while supporting her presidential bid.
The Trump campaign has dismissed Williams’s accusations, pointing out her background as a Democratic activist. Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt criticized the timing and context of the allegations, suggesting they might be a coordinated “October surprise” meant to influence voters just two weeks before the election. Leavitt added that Williams’s involvement with Democratic initiatives, including her ties to a pro-Obama organization listed in Federal Election Commission records, further questions the motivation behind these claims.
While Trump’s legal team has called the allegations “unequivocally false,” the impact of Williams’s claims on the campaign remains to be seen as the election approaches.
