(LibertySociety.com) – Critical Race Theory (CRT) has been in the news a lot lately in relation to education. Republicans across the country are passing laws to prevent the theory, which teaches that racism has shaped the US, from being taught in schools. Now, it’s making headlines for another reason.
On July 6, anti-CRT critic Christopher Rufo shared documents he reportedly obtained from Raytheon, the second-largest defense contractor in the US. The papers allegedly showed the company launched a program called “Stronger Together.” It included training materials asking White employees to “identify their privilege” and provided a list of resources they could use to “participate in reparations” and “decolonize” their bookshelves.
SCOOP: Raytheon, the nation's second-largest defense contractor, has launched a critical race theory program that encourages white employees to confront their "privilege," reject the principle of "equality," and "defund the police."
Let's review the internal documents.🧵

The Stronger Together program is allegedly “centered on intersectionality,” which is reportedly a core component of CRT. It divides the world into groups by race, gender, sexual orientation, and religion. Then it explains whether someone is oppressed or an oppressor. For instance, White men are the oppressors, while Black men are oppressed. Critics of CRT say it pits people against one another based on their race and sex, making it inherently racist and sexist.
Rufo revealed he has also obtained documents from 25 other Fortune 100 companies outlining their “antiracism” programs. He vowed to release them “one by one.”
