Top Democrat Signed Email With Misinformation to Voters

( – When Georgia Governor Brian Kemp (R) signed the state’s election security bill into law in March, the backlash was immediate. Companies began retaliating against the state, and Democrats made all sorts of accusations about the law. Recently elected Senator Raphael Warnock (D-GA) was one of those Dems.

According to an April 12 report by the Washington Post, Warnock signed an email blast by the group 3.14 Action after the law was signed. The message claimed the new law would restrict early voting on weekends and end no-excuse mail voting. The problem is that neither of those proposals was part of the final law.

Warnock isn’t the only prominent Democrat caught spreading misinformation about the law. President Joe Biden blasted it, saying it would end voting hours early and prevent working-class Americans from casting ballots. The law did no such thing. Lawmakers have a responsibility to make sure they give people good, honest information, but it seems the Democratic Party is failing miserably when it comes to the new law.
