Before and After Photos of Lauren Boebert Cause Controversy
(LibertySociety.com) – On November 9, reality TV producer Keith Edwards tweeted two pictures of Representative Lauren Boebert (R-CO) and her crew, labeling them before and after shots. The lawmaker is in a neck-and-neck race to defend her seat in the Lower Chamber of Congress. The first photo shows a celebratory Boebert with her hat in the air, surrounded by people clapping. The second one has a somber feel, with the legislator and her guests looking at the ground.

The montage sparked a mocking parade on Twitter, with many indicating Boebert will lose her spot in the House to her Democratic opponent Adam Frisch. As of November 11, the incumbent eked ahead of Frisch by a little over 1,100 votes, but the race is still too close to call.
One of Boebert’s representatives reacted to the dueling photos and commentary. They told Newsweek the group was praying, dispelling any talk that the congresswoman and her supporters were anticipating a loss.
Some of the responses on Twitter were scathing. A couple of people predicted the Colorado representative was about to lose her job, taking guesses on where she was headed next. One guessed Uber, while another put her in a fast-food restaurant.
Others had Boebert’s back, pointing out that the legislator and the group were obviously praying. They still held out hope for a Republican victory.
The race is still ongoing, with more votes being tallied. Depending on how the ballots finish, there may be a recount before officials make a final declaration.
