(LibertySociety.com) – Studies have shown about one in five Americans get their political news from social media. So, imagine what happens when the platforms they use begin censoring important information. That’s what’s happening every day in the US.
During the lead up to the 2020 election, moderators on social media platforms were busy, but they were busy censoring Conservatives. Time and again, Republicans found their posts dinged for “misinformation” and other offenses. President Donald Trump was a primary target.
Meanwhile, those same platforms left Joe Biden and Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA) alone to speak freely.

In effect, people who only get their political news from social media weren’t getting the whole story. They only saw what the Left was posting, not the Right’s rebuttal. That allowed the Democratic Party to control the narrative with the help of their friends in Big Tech. It’s no wonder the people who use social media as their primary news source are less informed.
