(LibertySociety.com) – President Biden has largely remained silent over the anti-Israel protests and encampments popping up at colleges and universities across the country. Outside of one condemnation after a particularly non-peaceful protest at UCLA, Biden has purposely avoided acknowledging the issue. Some media outlets have dared to state the obvious reason after connecting the dots, while others have remained tight-lipped. The word has spread on social media though, which is where millions of Americans get their news these days. Biden simply cannot draw too much attention to the matter because his donors are funding the organized chaos on college campuses.
One government watchdog called NGO Monitor was just one of several research groups that discovered the protests were bankrolled by none other than the Open Society Foundation. The George Soros-owned entity distributes money through other philanthropic nonprofits, including the Tides Foundation. The oddly similar protests on each campus, which included signs and shirts that were obviously made by the same vendors, were mostly organized by Jewish Voice for Peace and another group called IfNotNow. Both groups receive funding from the Tides Foundation.
Democratic megadonor David Rockefeller, through the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, donated a total of $500,000 to Jewish Voice for Peace for the last five years. The Fund also donated $300,000 to the Tides Foundation in recent years. Hyatt Hotel heirs Susan and Nick Pritzker fund a foundation that has financially supported other groups involved in the coordinated campus disruptions. The pair recently donated $6,600 to Biden’s reelection efforts but shelled out over $300,000 in 2020.
Biden is currently bleeding support from the far-left wing of the Democratic Party, with many pro-Palestinian Americans casting protest votes against him in primary elections. Radical left lawmakers, such as Rashida Tlaib, D-Mich., have encouraged her constituents to send a message to Biden at the ballot box. However, some have speculated that he has more to lose if Jewish Democrats from battleground states turn their backs on him.
