(LibertySociety.com) – As Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) begins to kick his re-election campaign into high gear, he recently made “Escape to Florida” t-shirts to highlight the many high-profile Democrats vacationing in Florida where choice still reigns supreme. According to the governor, left-leaning leaders are busy with mandates and lockdowns in their own states but traveling to the Sunshine State in droves to enjoy the freedoms he has fought to preserve via state power throughout the pandemic.
The shirts show a picture of Florida open for all, with “Lockdown Libs Tour” prominently displayed across the bottom. DeSantis is selling them on his campaign website for $25 each.

The back of each shirt has a list of Democrats visiting his state with their locations, stating Floridians like their freedom, too. Some legislators listed include Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Eric Swalwell (D-CA), and Governor Gretchen Whitmer (D-MI).
DeSantis recently stated during a press conference, if he “had a dollar” for the number of politicians spotted in his state, yet promoting lockdowns in their own, he would be a wealthy man.
It seems his t-shirt line could help build his election coffers while promoting his approach to the pandemic in Florida. The politician’s campaign has reportedly raised about $53 million for reelection since announcing his run in November 2021.
