Ron DeSantis Is Going to Fight for Personal Liberty

( – Since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic, Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) had a unique approach to fighting the virus and running his state. His main focus was to preserve American freedoms by letting residents make their own decisions regarding vaccinations and masking. Although harshly criticized by many on the Left, the Florida leader announced he would continue to fight for his constituents’ personal liberty. He believes residents of the Sunshine State should have their freedoms respected.

Instead of implementing restrictions that affect many businesses across the country, DeSantis touted his accomplishment of creating 50,000 new jobs in November alone. That number represents about 25% of the country’s jobs across the nation.

The 6th Circuit US Court of Appeals recently ruled that OSHA’s vaccine mandate for businesses with 100 employees or more can go into effect in January, but DeSantis isn’t concerned that it’ll impact his state. He thinks SCOTUS will soon overturn the court’s decision.

The governor is also proud Florida was recently among the states’ “lowest hospitalization rates in the country,” despite staying largely open throughout the pandemic. Going forward, he intends to keep his focus on making COVID-19 treatments widely available to keep Floridians healthy.
