Pelosi Struck By Storm Of Criticism After BOASTING Premature Victory
(LibertySociety.com) – On September 14, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) made a bold prediction, as she believes Democrats will gain more seats in the House and retain their majority. The question on many peoples’ minds going into the midterm elections is: Will there be a Red wave or a Blue wave? The truth is that nobody knows until the votes are counted. The California legislator faced backlash for claiming the Left will end up victorious in the fight for political control.
Nathan Brand, the deputy communications director for the Republican National Committee, posted a meme on Twitter as a response to Pelosi’s prediction, asking: “Are you sure about that?”

A recent poll conducted by FiveThirtyEight shows Republicans have a 72% chance of taking the Lower Chamber, directly refuting Pelosi’s words. That same forecast left Democrats in control of the Senate by about the same margin. As of September 15, President Joe Biden’s approval rating is still in the minority, averaging around 42.3% — a likely indicator that many are unhappy with Democratic rule.
Pelosi told Punchbowl that the issue of abortion and the events of January 6, 2021, will play a big role in a Blue victory. House Majority Whip James Clyburn (D-SC) and House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer (D-MD) made the same prediction.
