Nikki Haley Donation Total From First 6 Weeks Revealed

(LibertySociety.com) – Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley, who is vying for the White House, brought in a whopping $11 million in donations since she began her run for President of the United States just six weeks ago, according to Fox News. Haley has made several stops on the campaign trail, spreading her message of making “America strong and proud” to potential voters in an effort to shift the Republican party to a younger and more modern platform. Haley’s campaign stated that she received donations from every state and Washington D.C., revealing that the majority were in amounts totaling $200 or less.

Haley has been making stops all over the first two primary election states of New Hampshire and Iowa, holding 19 events between the two. She is approaching her campaign in a different way than former President Donald Trump, hosting small town hall events to be able to take questions from potential voters. During his first official campaign event, Trump also did a question-and-answer segment, signaling a shift from the type of rallies we’ve seen over the last few years.

Haley does have a pool of big-money donors, including the Winning for Women PAC, whose chair, Annie Dickerson, expressed her pleasure with the campaign style that Haley has adopted. Other donors have mentioned her foreign policy positions as a positive for her chances of securing the primary, while also referencing her two terms as South Carolina Governor. Outside of South Carolina, Haley has raised the most money in Texas and Florida, although she continues to poll in the single digits.

The Republican side of the upcoming primary race continues to add candidates, with Trump, Haley, Entrepreneur and activist Vivek Ramaswamy, and former Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson officially in the race. More announcements are expected to come over the next several months.
