(LibertySociety.com) – Rumors have been swirling about what’s next now that Donald Trump is no longer president. Will he run for office again in 2024? Could he start his own television network or social media platform? Regardless of what other steps he might take, there’s one that should catch the attention of many Republicans, according to new polls.
A CBS News/YouGov poll released on February 9 shows conservative voters are still very loyal to Trump. The survey asked GOP voters if they would join a political party started by the former president, and 33% said “yes,” while another 37% answered “maybe.”
One-third of Republicans say if Donald Trump formed his own political party, they would join.

Republicans were also asked if they believe the party should stay loyal to Trump, and 46% said it’s “very important,” while 26% said it’s “somewhat important.” Clearly, if the former president decides he wants to go that way, there will be a huge support system standing behind him. What does that mean for the rest of the party? That’s yet to be determined.
