(LibertySociety.com) – On Monday, October 26, the Senate voted to confirm Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. President Donald Trump held a swearing-in ceremony later that night. The Left wasn’t happy about it, and it looks like their displeasure influenced decisions made by the Girl Scouts of the USA. Journalist Megyn Kelly is blasting the organization over a recent decision.
Girl Scouts tweeted congratulations to Barrett on her installment to the Supreme Court, becoming only the fifth woman to serve. However, the organization quickly took the tweet down. They claimed the message was removed because it came across as a “political or partisan statement.” Kelly called the move “pathetic” and “a real disappointment.”
This is pathetic @girlscouts. It’s not “partisan” to generically congratulate the 5th woman ever to join the High Court. It’s patriotic. Taking your tweet down *is* partisan, however, and a real disappointment. https://t.co/ecct6oU8O4

The organization claims it lifts up women and girls, but it seems as though it only supports them if they lean left. The tweet wasn’t partisan. The Girl Scouts’ decision to take the congratulatory message back sure seems like it was, though.
