(LibertySociety.com) – With one bombshell after another dropping over the last several weeks about President Biden’s involvement in his son Hunter Biden’s business dealings, House Speaker Kevin McCarthy is finally considering a formal impeachment inquiry. During an interview with Sean Hannity on Fox News, Speaker McCarthy spoke about the House Oversight Committee investigation into the Biden family business dealings. He told Hannity that the committee has used verifiable evidence to build its investigation, despite stonewalling from departments and agencies every step of the way.
McCarthy brought up the fact that there was never a physical location for many of the shell companies owned by members of the Biden family. He said that it is unclear what type of work they did to receive large sums of money from companies in countries such as China and Romania. McCarthy also told Hannity that the FBI withheld the FD-1023 form that Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley recently released from the IRS although the agencies were in frequent contact throughout the tax investigation into Hunter Biden. He detailed some of the transactions that the committee had discovered, telling Hannity that “16 out of 17 payments from Romania” were paid to various shell companies owned by members of the Biden family while he was serving as vice president.
McCarthy spoke of the IRS whistleblowers, whom he believes to be highly credible. He told Hannity that “This is rising to the level of impeachment inquiry,” adding that Congress will be able to get even more information to add to it mounting pile of evidence. McCarthy has said for many months that he would wait until the Oversight Committee had garnered enough evidence to move forward with impeaching the 46th President, and that time may have finally arrived. On July 31, Hunter Biden’s former business partner Devon Archer sat for a transcribed interview to members of the Oversight Committee. He provided specific details regarding Joe Biden’s involvement in phone calls with his son’s business associates, bringing an end to the scandal-ridden month of July for the Biden family.
