(LibertySociety.com) – Radio show host Mark Levin has often passionately communicated his disgust with President Biden and the Department of Justice (DOJ) for what he believes to be a brazen attempt to end former President Trump’s 2024 presidential candidacy. After the latest indictment of the former president was handed down by Special Counsel Jack Smith, Levin offered a suggestion to Trump’s attorneys. He believes that they should “seek an emergency hearing before the U.S. Supreme Court” to halt the abomination of this legal warfare that is unfolding in front of us.”
Levin explains that there is no statute of limitations on the types of charges that Smith has brought against Trump, meaning that he could wait until after the election to argue his case in court. Levin said that Smith’s recommendation to expeditiously try the case is solely to destroy Trump’s chances of becoming president again, while also depleting his campaign coffers. He believes that the unprecedented nature of this investigation should not be handled by lower-level courts that are being exploited by Smith. Levin says that he is using the legal process to deliver systematic blows to the Trump campaign.
Levin said that only the Supreme Court can put the DOJ in its place, and if it decides to turn a blind eye to the corrupt process that is currently unfolding, there will be no hope for this country. He blasted the anti-Trump Republicans like former Attorney General William Barr and former New Jersey Governor Chris Christie for claiming that the former President brought these charges on himself. He reminded his audience of President Biden’s history of attempting to destroy the people whom he sees as a threat, including Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas. He explained how none of this would be happening if they did not see Trump as a threat to their political power. Trump is due back in court on August 28 for a second hearing about the charges stemming from January 6, 2021, but has called for the recusal of the judge who will preside over the case.
