(LibertySociety.com) – President Joe Biden’s pro-immigration policies are reportedly creating a massive problem at the US-Mexico border. New reports indicate more than 100,000 illegals were encountered or detained at the border in the four weeks ending on March 4.
On March 9, Fox News confirmed House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) plans to travel to the southern border on Monday. He and a group of GOP lawmakers want to assess the crisis for themselves.

The decision came after Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas said an “overwhelming number of migrants” have been trying to enter the country at America’s border with Mexico. Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) expressed outrage over the crisis.

If President Biden won’t protect America from an overflow of migrants coming into the U.S., Congress should take action. Unfortunately, Minority Leader McCarthy and the rest of the GOP face an uphill battle if they truly want to make a change because Democrats still have the majority.
This crisis is another reason why the 2022 election will be critical.
