(LibertySociety.com) – In mid-November, Vice President Kamala Harris’ communications director, Ashley Etienne, announced she was quitting her job to explore “other opportunities.” Two short weeks later, the VP’s senior advisor, Symone Sanders, decided to leave Harris’ side, as well. Although she didn’t state a reason for her departure, her sudden exit has some wondering if controversy between Harris and President Joe Biden is to blame.
Others ponder the curious timing, coinciding with Stacey Abrams’ announcement of her intention to run for governor in Georgia.

Regardless of the reason, two back-to-back resignations from positions close to the Vice President are fueling rumors about the Biden administration underutilizing Harris and her allegedly growing frustration.
A White House official spoke to Fox News and while they didn’t go into detail about the reasons for Sanders’ decision to leave after the end of the year, they did state she had “served honorably,” and the administration will miss her.
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki relayed it’s not uncommon for staffers to “move on after a few years.” However, the combination of rumored contention between the President and Vice President as well as recent departures cast doubt regarding harmony within the current administration.
