(LibertySociety.com) – Multiple whistleblowers have come forward to speak and cooperate with Congress regarding the business dealings of the Biden family, but most have not revealed their identities. One whistleblower changed his mind about identifying himself to the public after he says he was retaliated against for speaking out about the way the investigation involving Hunter Biden was being conducted.
Gary Shapley, who has worked for the IRS for over fourteen years, came forward in an interview with CBS News to give details about what he experienced during the investigation into the taxes of President Joe Biden’s son, Hunter. He told CBS, “There were multiple steps that were slow-walked,” adding that some were even skipped, while also claiming that the Department of Justice had a hand in the decisions. He expressed his commitment to the oath he took when he became an agent, which is what compelled him to come forward as a whistleblower after he was allegedly retaliated against for speaking out about the special way in which the case was being handled, which he documented every step of the way.
Shapley also told CBS, “Each and every time, it seemed to always benefit the subject,” when discussing his belief that Hunter was being protected in some sort of way. Shapley’s attorneys contacted Congress in April to get protection for Shapley, and now he will testify in a private hearing with the Ways and Means Committee in the House of Representatives. He has faced accusations from Hunter Biden’s team of lawyers, which seems to be a frequent occurrence against anyone who attempts to discuss the potential crimes he has committed.
In April 2023, Hunter’s attorneys accused Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., of defaming him, and wanted her to be investigated by the Ethics Committee. People who have committed to cooperating with Kentucky Representative James Comer’s investigation into the Biden family have also been allegedly intimidated by Hunter’s attorneys, receiving phone calls reminding them of their supposed involvement in the dealings that Rep. Comer is looking into.
