Hillary Clinton Cowers Away From 2024 Run For One Main Reason
(LibertySociety.com) – On June 17, former presidential candidate Hillary Clinton stated in an interview with the Financial Times that she will not be running for the White House or any other high US office in 2024. She said the prospect was “out of the question,” stating she has no intention of disrupting President Joe Biden’s run for a second term as US leader.
Hillary Clinton dismissed a 2024 presidential bid by maintaining Joe Biden will stand again and any move by her into the political spotlight would detract from his efforts to return to the White House. https://t.co/WzmUNeRF7F

During a briefing on November 22, 2021, former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki confirmed Biden intends to run for re-election in 2024. Clinton said during her recent interview that she also expects him to run, and she would rather support him than challenge him during his bid to stay in the Oval Office. She would rather keep the focus there than shine a light on herself and possibly split the vote.
It’s unclear what Biden’s chances are to stay in his position, although his low poll numbers makes the prospect seem pretty grim. If he does run, the president will beat his own record as the oldest candidate to run for the commander-in-chief. A Hill-HarrisX poll from November 2021 showed 61% of those surveyed think Biden should make way for someone new to run on the Democratic ticket in 2024. It doesn’t appear he’s going to listen to the public. As for Clinton, she seems to have no interest in stepping back into the political spotlight.
