Hillary Clinton Weighs in on the Russia-Ukraine Crisis: “Double Down”

Hillary Clinton Weighs in on the Russia-Ukraine Crisis:

(LibertySociety.com) – In a recent interview with NBC’s “Meet the Press,” former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton weighed in on the ongoing Russia-Ukraine war. Clinton affirmed that the United States should increase pressure against Vladimir Putin, while also including more aid for Ukrainians.

Clinton revealed additional sanctions against Russia as a potential solution, such as those against additional banks in SWIFT. The former 2016 presidential candidate said now is the time to “double down” and stop the ongoing bloodshed in Ukraine by “resupplying” Ukrainians with military armament while protecting the rest of Europe.

Clinton also thinks the world should ice out Russian President Vladimir Putin and the country going forward, to include preventing them from participating in events like the G20 summit taking place this year in Bali. If Russia insists on attending the conference, she called for others to boycott their attempts to attend.

In addition, the former first lady talked about the United States helping European allies as they rapidly step away from their dependence on Russian energy.

Since the beginning of Russia’s invasion of neighboring Ukraine, many countries around the world have imposed sanctions to stop Russian President Vladimir Putin and his troops in their tracks.

Although Hillary Clinton praised President Joe Biden for his handling of the current situation, she thinks he needs to speed things up and go further in the area of punishments.

Do you agree with the United States being more aggressive against Russia to finally help put an end to the war?
