Former Trump Official Plans for 2022 Election

(LibertySociety.com) – Former President Donald Trump is one of the most popular Republicans in history. More than 74 million voters cast their ballots for him in 2020, and although he’s no longer in office, some of his former officials are trying to propel his “America First” agenda forward.

On March 8, former Trump official Sery Kim announced she’s running for the late Congressman Ron Wright’s (R) open seat. The representative passed away recently after a battle with COVID-19, leaving a vacancy in the House. During her time in the Trump administration, Kim served as the assistant administrator of the Office of Women’s Business Ownership at the Small Business Administration.

Many other Trump officials are either running or considering a run for public office. His former aide, Catalina Lauf, is challenging Rep. Adam Kinzinger (R) in Illinois. Former Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders is running to be the next governor of Arkansas. There have even been rumors about the possibility his children could run for office. Clearly, the MAGA movement is alive and thriving even without Trump in the White House.
