Federal Agents Are Closing in on Hunter Biden
(LibertySociety.com) – On October 6, it was revealed that federal authorities looking into Hunter Biden feel they’ve gathered enough evidence to bring charges against him. That said, indicting the president’s son will be up to Delaware US Attorney David Weiss, who is heading up the case. Charges could include tax crimes and lying on an application when Biden purchased a gun. The president’s son indicated on the document he was not an addict, which could have been a false statement at the time.

What started out as the infamous laptop scandal turned into a focus on the younger Biden’s tax declarations and his answers on the gun questionnaire. In fact, investigators “determined months ago” they likely had enough evidence for charges. However, it’s not up to the agents whether to move forward, as the prosecutor needs to decide if he can possibly get a conviction in court.
Biden’s lawyer Chris Clark was unhappy about the leaked information, saying any agent found to have provided such information to the public had “committed…a felony.”
US Attorney General Merrick Garland previously stated he would not interfere in the case, vowing to stay non-partisan. Sources say the AG is not putting any pressure on Weiss either way on whether he should push forward with the case.
