(LibertySociety.com) – In October, when the New York Post published an article about Hunter Biden with information allegedly taken from his laptop, the mainstream media refused to report it. It was called a conspiracy theory, repeatedly. The former Director of National Intelligence, John Ratcliffe, has finally spoken out about that talking point.
On Sunday, April 13, Ratcliffe appeared on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures” to discuss Hunter’s laptop. He said the scandal was not a Russian disinformation campaign and said it was wrong to disparage the New York Post for its reporting. The former DNI said the “50 former Obama-Clinton-Biden national security officials” who disputed that Joe Biden was involved were lying to “protect a false narrative” about the 46th president.
Ratcliffe blamed the “corporate media” for running the “false narrative” and misinforming the American people. He said law enforcement knew the laptop was real, but the Left still lied.

Social media and the mainstream press basically buried the news story when it was released. The American people went to the polls a couple of weeks later, and Joe Biden won the election.
