(LibertySociety.com) – At a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk made a passionate plea to Donald Trump supporters, emphasizing the crucial importance of voter turnout in the upcoming election. Taking the stage after being invited by Trump, Musk told the crowd and those watching from home that this election could be America’s last if Trump does not win, framing it as a must-win situation for the future of the country.
“This will be the last election,” Musk warned, if Trump does not secure victory. He stressed that the stakes were incredibly high, saying that Trump’s victory is essential to “preserve the Constitution” and “democracy.” His message was clear: the only way to safeguard these foundational principles is through the ballot box.
Musk’s main message was to get people registered and make sure they actually vote. “This is a must-win situation. Must win,” Musk stated firmly, stressing the urgent need for action. He called on every person in attendance, everyone watching the live stream, and anyone who saw the video to take immediate steps to ensure they and their loved ones were registered to vote. “It’s this one request. It’s very important: Register to vote.”
Highlighting the tight deadlines for voter registration in crucial swing states, Musk noted that time was running out. “You need to get everyone you know at work, your friends, family, text groups, your social media—everything—get them to register to vote right now,” he said, pointing out that only two days remained for registration in Georgia and Arizona, while Pennsylvania’s deadline was just a few weeks away. “If they’re not registered to vote, it doesn’t matter at that point,” Musk added, underscoring the need to act quickly.
Musk also addressed a common misconception, saying, “A lot of people think maybe their vote doesn’t count. Well, it does. It matters.” He reminded the audience that elections are often decided by narrow margins, sometimes by as few as 500 or 1,000 votes. In such a close race, every vote could be the deciding factor.
Encouraging the crowd to be relentless in getting others to the polls, Musk urged them to text people immediately. “Text people now, now! And then, make sure they actually do vote,” he implored. For Musk, the outcome of this election could hinge on turnout, and he left no room for doubt that he believes the future of the nation is at stake.
Musk’s comments came as voter registration deadlines loomed in key battleground states, where both Trump and Democratic candidates are focusing their efforts. His speech reinforced the idea that mobilization and turnout could be the deciding factors in determining the next president.
