(LibertySociety.com) – After a heated exchange during a Senate hearing on January 11, the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) Dr. Anthony Fauci was caught calling Senator Roger Marshall (R-KY) a moron. The doctor was in the hot seat, facing questions from the senator about his financial position and how it may relate to the pandemic.
Confused as to why the politician asked about his finances when they’re public knowledge, a frustrated Fauci insulted Marshall after telling him he was “so misinformed, it’s extraordinary.”
After the incident, the lawmaker released a statement about Fauci’s slip, stating the “least trusted bureaucrat in America” was likely alleviating stress after facing tough questions from congressional members.

The top doctor didn’t only clash with one legislator from Kentucky, but two. He also went back and forth with Senator Rand Paul (R-KY), reprimanding him for his alleged ongoing personal attacks.
During the exchange, Fauci accused the senator of instigating violence. He mentioned a recent incident where a man was recently traveling from California to Washington, DC, with a firearm with the intention of killing him as a result of Paul’s attacks, like Paul put the gun in the man’s hands.
Rather than calling lawmakers names and slinging baseless accusations, perhaps Fauci should focus on actually doing what’s good for the country.
