Donald Trump Accuses Mike Pence of Cowardice

(LibertySociety.com) – Although former President Donald Trump lost his fight for his position in the oval office during the 2020 general election, he remains a strong voice within the Republican party. In December, he started a four-city History Tour of the country, speaking to a crowd in Florida about his thoughts on former Vice President Mike Pence. During his speech, Trump said his former colleague had a chance to contest the election results in Georgia, but in the end, did not have the “courage” to do so.

Meanwhile, Pence is hinting about his intentions to run for president in 2024, and he might come face to face on the ballot with Trump himself. However, the former president doesn’t seem too worried about the possibility.

He believes the former vice president is “mortally wounded” inside the GOP for certifying the 2020 election and said he feels sorry for Pence. Trump said the former veep should have “sent those crooked votes back to the legislators.” Since he didn’t, the businessman turned politician thinks Pence’s political career is over.

If Trump decides to run for president in 2024, he doesn’t seem to want Pence on his ticket. He said there are too many candidates to choose from, but didn’t rule out Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) as a consideration.
