Held without bail at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn since his September arrest on serious criminal charges, Combs is facing a minimum of 15 years and up to life in prison if convicted on charges that include racketeering, sex trafficking, and witness tampering.
On his birthday, Combs’ jail menu included a breakfast of fruit, cereal, and breakfast cake, with skim milk on the side. Lunch featured pasta with marinara sauce and a choice of meatballs or a chickpea-based option, along with a garden salad and whole wheat bread. For dinner, the menu offered chicken or tofu fried rice, paired with black beans, carrots, and more bread.
Meanwhile, Combs’ children honored his birthday in a small but heartfelt way. His son Justin shared a video of his siblings gathering around a cake, with Combs joining in by phone. His youngest, Love, sang “Happy Birthday” before blowing out a candle, and Combs could be heard expressing his love and pride for his family.
Combs has consistently denied the charges, maintaining his innocence. However, his requests for bail have been rejected multiple times. Judge Robyn F. Tarnofsky initially denied him bail, citing the need to protect the community. The indictment includes harrowing accounts from anonymous accusers, including one 13-year-old girl who alleged sexual abuse at an industry event.
