DeSantis Gives Corrupt Officials The Boot – Guess Why?
(LibertySociety.com) – On August 26, Governor Ron DeSantis (R-FL) used the results of a Grand Jury’s report about the 2018 Parkland, Florida, massacre to suspend four members of the Broward County School Board: Donna Korn, Patricia Good, Laurie Rich Levinson, and Ann Murray. The report found the school board members grossly “mismanaged” funds meant to keep the children safe — they failed.
To this day, the members still have yet to install a “safety-related alarm” in every school — the very one that could have stopped the massacre four years ago.

On February 14, 2018, Nikolas Cruz approached and then entered Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School with a gun, murdering 17 people and injuring 17 others. Reportedly, if the board properly used the funds provided by the state to update the alarm system, some or all of the deceased may still be alive.
The governor noted in Executive Order Number 22-202 that Florida students are learning in an unsafe, dirty, and worn-out environment. DeSantis said the board should have updated all the institutions over time with the money in the SMART program. Since Florida law requires the entity to tend to matters of health and safety for school attendees, the members did not sufficiently fulfill their duties.
Do you think DeSantis made the right move?
