Clarence Thomas’ Wife To Be Interrogated By Jan 6 Committee
(LibertySociety.com) – On September 21, Virginia “Ginny” Thomas, activist and wife of US Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, agreed to a future interview with the House January 6 Committee. Her lawyer, Attorney Mark Paoletta, indicated she was looking forward to answering any questions the group has about her “work relating to the 2020 election.” The representatives investigating the events at the Capitol at the beginning of 2021 have been eager to talk to Mrs. Thomas since at least March.

At that time, multiple news sources reported messages between the conservative activist and then-White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows. Text messages handed over to the committee by Meadows show the justice’s wife pleading for him to “release the Kraken” and save America. According to her writings, Ginni Thomas believed the presidential election was stolen from former President Donald Trump. She also contacted legislators in multiple swing states after the November 2020 election was over, encouraging them to “stand strong” and use a “clean slate of electors” during the democratic process.
The January 6 group will continue its hearings on September 28 in what is likely to be the start of the last leg of the investigation. The bipartisan assembly is expected to finish its work and compile a report of its findings by the end of 2022.
What do you think of Virginia Thomas’ willingness to voluntarily cooperate with the commission?
