(LibertySociety.com) – Far-left radical progressive so-called “celebrity” Chrissy Teigen appears to be afraid that former President Trump will hunt her down if he wins in November.
During a recent podcast interview, Teigen recalled her profanity-laced Twitter comment on one of Trump’s posts during his presidency. She asked the host if she thought he would retaliate against her from his new position of power, given that “he’s unhinged.” Teigen fantasized about the possibility alongside her husband, singer John Legend. He told the host that he was endorsing President Biden and that the pair would be visiting the White House after leaving the interview. Biden will likely receive a swath of celebrity endorsements in the coming months, but whether their voices will influence voters remains to be seen.
Teigen admitted that her active participation in politics could hurt her business ventures and create problems for her retail partners. She added that they may grow fearful if they are inundated with complaints about her public comments. Teigen is just one of several public figures to publicly muse about facing retribution from Trump. Actor Robert De Niro wildly claimed that Trump would seek him out if he won another term in the White House.
Former FBI deputy director turned media commentator Andrew McCabe recently said that he and others have wondered whether they should move to another country if Trump beats Biden out of fear of imprisonment. Despite the incessant claims like McCabe’s and endless media outrage about Trump’s alleged revenge term, the former President has continuously said that his success will serve as his retribution.
Unlike Teigen, who has likely never occupied Trump’s brain, McCabe and his colleagues have cause for concern because they continued to pursue an investigation into Trump’s alleged collusion with Russia during his campaign despite knowing that they had no credible evidence. Trump oversaw the firing of McCabe in 2018, which drew immediate scrutiny from Democrats and the media. While the DOJ has never divulged specific documents it was looking for during the FBI raid of Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, many legal experts following the case believe they were trying to recover documents related to the Russian collusion investigation. Other former government officials who may be worried about Trump’s return to office were those who falsely claimed that the Hunter Biden laptop story was a Russian influence operation that was deployed to interfere with the 2020 presidential election.
