(LibertySociety.com) – Rock legend Bruce Springsteen recently endorsed Kamala Harris for president, calling former President Donald Trump the “most dangerous candidate” he’s seen in his lifetime. In a video recorded at a diner, dressed casually in a flannel shirt, Springsteen emphasized how politically divided the country feels, likening the current situation to the Civil War era.
Springsteen, who has previously supported Barack Obama and Joe Biden, expressed his concern over Trump’s disregard for key American values. He argued that Trump’s disrespect for the Constitution, democracy, and the peaceful transfer of power should disqualify him from holding office again.
Regarding Harris, Springsteen praised both her and running mate Tim Walz, saying they offer a vision of an inclusive America that respects everyone, regardless of background. He highlighted that their economic plans would benefit not just the wealthy but all Americans. The rocker connected their policies to the themes he has written about for over five decades, focusing on the struggles and hopes of everyday Americans.
Springsteen ended his message by urging listeners to vote, emphasizing that, like everyone else, he only has one vote, which he considers one of his most valuable possessions. He pledged to use it in support of Harris and Walz this November.
