Bishop Alleges Biden Made Mockery of Catholic Faith

( – Biden has been largely portrayed by the media as a devout Catholic who attends mass every Sunday, but his policy position on abortion is glaringly misaligned with the Catholic faith.

One Catholic bishop from Springfield, Illinois, recently spoke out against Biden’s abortion stance, as well as an incident where Biden made a “sacrilegious” gesture during an appearance alongside failed gubernatorial candidate and current Florida Democratic Party chairwoman Nikki Fried.

Bishop Thomas John Paprocki posted a YouTube video titled, “Biden Mocks Our Catholic Faith,” which quickly spread online. Paprocki recounted Biden’s commitment to restoring Roe v. Wade and codifying it into the United States Constitution. He also discussed the incident with Fried, where Biden made a cross symbol with his fingers when a pro-abortion speaker discussed Florida’s restrictions on the life-ending procedure. Immediately after Fried complained that the 15-week abortion ban “wasn’t good enough” for Republicans, Biden made the cross-finger gesture. Paprocki quoted another bishop from Spain who blasted Biden for making the gesture. That bishop accused Biden of desecrating the cross by using the gesture while rallying in support of abortion.

Paprocki discussed his video during an appearance on the Dive Deep Podcast, where he mostly spoke about the Ten Commandments. He explained that rejecting any of the commandments was an act of heresy. He said that Biden had rejected a portion of the Fifth Commandment by supporting abortion. Paprocki is not alone in his criticism of Biden. Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker slammed Biden during a commencement speech at Benedictine College on May 11. He told the group of graduates that Biden’s radical stance on abortion gave the impression that it was acceptable to be pro-choice and Catholic.

Butker noted that many Catholic figures have promoted anti-religious agendas, such as gender ideologies. He encouraged the audience to recognize that playing nice is not always the solution when such agendas are coming from within the church. He also described Biden as a poor leader whose policies have harmed Americans in various ways.
