(LibertySociety.com) – Speculation and shock swirled on social media after Hunter Biden was photographed boarding Marine One on June 24, heading to Camp David with President Joe Biden. Just days earlier, Hunter Biden’s plea deal agreement became public, sparking backlash for the underwhelming charges brought against the president’s son given the evidence on Hunter’s laptop that has been accessible for over two years now. Even more shockingly, social media users were surprised that President Biden would make such a bold move after explosive whistleblower allegations revealed a text message authored by Hunter that indicated his father was present when he was demanding payment from a Chinese Communist Party-linked businessman.
The whistleblowers also told members of the House Ways and Means Committee that the Department of Justice interfered in U.S. Attorney David Weiss’ investigation into Hunter, refusing to allow charges to be brought against him in California and Washington D.C., in addition to Weiss being denied a Special Counsel designation. Attorney General Merrick Garland denied the allegations, but two separate whistleblowers came forward with the same information. Their attorneys also doubled down on the accusations after the DOJ and Garland made the denials, indicating that this matter is not going away anytime soon.
Members of the House, including Speaker Kevin McCarthy, have expressed interest in beginning the impeachment process against Garland, with McCarthy saying that he will move forward with an inquiry if the whistleblower testimony is true. While Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., has previously filed for the impeachment of Garland, new articles will likely be drawn up to include his role in the Hunter Biden investigation. Speaker McCarthy would like Weiss to testify in front of the Judiciary Committee to answer questions about the whistleblowers’ claims.
On June 28, President Biden snapped at a reporter who asked him if he was involved in Hunter’s “Chinese shakedown text message,” with Biden responding by laughing and shouting “NO” to the reporter. Despite his many denials over the last several years, there is mounting evidence that he may have been involved in various aspects of Hunter Biden’s business dealings, including meeting with more than twelve of his associates.
