Trump Pushes Another CRUCIAL Candidate Over The Finish Line
(LibertySociety.com) – In a stunning turn of events, Republican congressional candidate Katie Britt beat Representative Mo Brooks (R-AL) in the Alabama primary runoff election. Until recently, former President Donald Trump backed the current lawmaker in the race but switched his endorsement just weeks before the primary for unconfirmed reasons. The former US leader said he changed his mind because Brooks went “woke,” but others believe he simply thought the legislator was on a losing track.
THANK YOU, Alabama!
My family and I are truly grateful. Words cannot express our thanks. The future of our great state is bright! #alsen pic.twitter.com/MpBDX15dUB

Neither candidate in the Alabama race had earned more than 50% of the vote, prompting the runoff. Britt previously said voters were looking for new candidates to represent their interests. She declared the people of the Yellowhammer State want an “America First agenda” to get the country on the right path.
On the other hand, Brooks used his time to speak out against Trump, stating the former president only cares about himself and not the American people. In the end, his words didn’t help to secure a victory for the representative.
Trump-endorsed Britt will square off against Democratic nominee Will Boyd for the Senate seat in November. Considering the current political climate leans heavily to the Right, many expect her to win in the midterms.
Do you think the former president’s endorsement pushed Britt over the top?
