American Woman Commits Supreme Act Of Betrayal – Guilty Of Terrorism
(LibertySociety.com) – On June 7, Kansas native Allison Fluke-Ekren pleaded guilty to running a military group for the Islamic State in Syria. According to prosecutors, the battalion leader taught more than 100 women and girls in the Middle East how to use explosives and AK-47s.
One witness said Fluke-Ekren wanted to carry out terrorist attacks against the United States by placing explosives in parking garages under shopping centers and blowing up a midwestern college. She now faces up to 20 years in prison for her crimes.

Although the American woman didn’t give a reason for her terrorist activities running an all-female armed group, her husband died during an airstrike in Syria in 2016. In 2017, she began teaching how to use advanced weapons to a number of women and girls in the area. While that may have sparked her organizational efforts, a witness told prosecutors Fluke-Ekren spoke freely about attacking the US from the time she arrived in Syria back in 2012 or 2013. The court documents state she traveled overseas from late 2011 until about May 2019, participating in “terrorism-related activities” in several countries.
The accused admitted to most of the allegations against her, except she never intended to recruit young girls into the fold. She also said the witness quoting her in the court documents misunderstood her words.
Sentencing is scheduled for October 25, when the criminal will learn her fate.
